Private guided trek from Marrakech — transfers, mountain guide, meals & guesthouse included

Scenic View of Azzaden Valley in the High Atlas Mountains

Tour Overview :

Discover the authentic High Atlas on this private 2-day trek through Berber villages, walnut groves, and juniper forests. Starting from Marrakech, you travel to Imlil (1,740 m) — the gateway to the Atlas — where your licensed mountain guide leads you across scenic passes and valleys rarely reached by day-trippers.

The trek connects the Imlil Valley to the beautiful Azzaden Valley via the Tizi M’zzik pass (2,450 m), with panoramic views of Mount Toubkal and traditional mountain life. Along the way, you visit remote hamlets, terraced fields, and the impressive Tamsoulte Waterfalls — one of the highest cascades in the Atlas region — and enjoy home-cooked meals prepared by locals.

The entire route lies within the Toubkal National Park (established 1942). This is a moderate, non-technical trek, ideal for active travelers seeking authentic Atlas scenery without climbing Toubkal. For those who also want the summit, see our 3-day Toubkal trek via the Azzaden Valley.
