Begin your adventure with a transfer from Marrakech to Imlil, a charming village located at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. After a brief orientation, set off on your trek towards Tinerhourhine, passing by the quaint village of Tamatert en route. Take in the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes before taking a break for lunch on the scenic col of Tizi n’Tamatert. After lunch, continue your journey towards Ouanesekra-Tamguist, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. As the sun sets, arrive at the serene Tinerhourhine, where you will spend the night.
After breakfast, set out on an exhilarating trek through the valley passing by the charming village of Ikkiss, before ascending towards Tizi n’Aguersioual. Take a break for lunch at the lovely Matate, surrounded by stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. After lunch, continue your journey, passing by Tizi n’Oudite towards Aït Aïssa where you will spend the night. The day’s trek will take approximately 5 to 6 hours.
After breakfast, depart from Aït Aïssa towards Tizi Oussem, passing through the charming village of Tizi Mzik en route. Soak up the stunning natural beauty of your surroundings as you make your way towards Imlil, where your trekking adventure comes to an end. Take in the final views of the Atlas Mountains before being transferred back to Marrakech.
This trek is rated easy to medium and suitable for families, elderly individuals, and those new to trekking. Most of the route is comfortable and accessible by mule if preferred.
